Happy New Intentions

Happy New Year! We made it another year. A reset if you will. Now that we’re a few days in to a new year, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the year that just past as well as a time to set intentions for what’s to come in 2022. Don’t fear my loves! Dream. Dream big. Don’t let your inner self or anyone else for that matter discourage you from setting amazing intentions for yourself. You can do it! I believe in you. Dream big. Set big goals for yourself. Once the goals are set, we can chat about the process to take to successful meet those intentions.

My suggestion to you all is take the time to first reflect. What happened in 2021? The good, the bad, and the ugly. Let it out. It can be very therapeutic to put ink to paper. It doesn’t have to be perfectly written. Its about releasing the past experiences to make room for new ones. What would you leave behind? What you would like to continue on into this new year? What would like to see change? You are the creator of your life’s character.

This is the time to set intentions. Let’s do some intentional planning. Have fun with it. Ready. Set. Go. Create.

Welcome, Allow me to Introduce to Myself

In the beginning of the pandemic, I’m sure many of you have felt as have I felt, a sense of uncertainty, not necessarily fear but great concern as to what was to come. As many of us were required to social distance, staying at home became a opportune time to self-reflect; to get know one’s self. And again, as many of us do when it comes to self-reflection the majority stay occupied with the other things to feel the day so that one doesn’t have to be alone with one’s self. I can tell you, I at many times in my life have done so. One day I made up my mind to instead of staying stuck in a feeling of uncertainty, I changed my mindset and began using the time to rediscover myself, try out new hobbies, hone in the skills that I already possessed, and truly taking the time to discover my purpose.

What I’ve come to find out is, I’ve always loved to help others. I have a mantra that I live by and that is, “Always leave people that I encounter better off than I found them” and by that I mean, being a positive light for someone else.

Let me start out by saying, welcome to Green-Expressions, my name is Shanna Green. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, boss, mentor, leader, veteran and many titles embraced as many of us are. I’m here to share my experiences, teach others in financial literacy, creativity, lifestyle, and just grow together. This is a positive vibe community. A place to uplift others and leave others better off than how you where found.
